Bug Description
Binary package hint: tomboy
Experienced on Ubuntu 11.10 Classic Gnome Session with Tomboy ver. 1.6.0-0ubuntu3
To reproduce
- open new note
- shrink the window until all the top menu buttons collapse to a drop-down list
- keyboard shortcuts do not work unless previously invoked via menu from drop-down list
I didn't test this on:
- other Tomboy versions
- Unity Gnome Session
- other operating systems
It looks like some kind of monitoring daemon listening for keypress events is being inactive when the top menu button (corresponding with given keyboard shortcut) is hidden and it "awakes" after the function (any function available under this button) is called.
Cheers,
Cypr

Confirming (also Ubuntu 11.10 Classic with Tomboy 1.6.0-0ubuntu3).
You don't have to open a note to reproduce. The "global" shortcuts defined in Preferences (e.g. Alt-F11) don't work eihter :(
