Bug Description

Binary package hint: tomboy

I try to press any of the hotkeys listed in the Tomboy Preferences tab "Hotkeys," and none of them are working. I also tried assigning them to different keys to see if it was a conflict of some sort, but I still can't get tomboy to respond to any of these stimuli.

This was also filed upstream here https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=651530 , but I do not know yet if it is an Ubuntu/Unity-only bug.

Tons of apps use Tomboy's keybinding library. Do you have the same problem with gnome-do, for example?

Same problem here: gnome-do won't accept specific keybindings like <Super>space.

Having a look at gnome-do's debugging output reveals the following lines:
[Error 09:56:24.991] [AbstractKeyBindingService] Failed to bind "Summon Do" to "<Super>space"
[Error 09:56:24.993] [AbstractKeyBindingService] Key "" is already mapped.
[Error 09:56:24.993] [AbstractKeyBindingService] Failed to bind "Summon in Text Mode" to ""
