--icon option does not work at session startup

Bug Description

Binary package hint: tomboy

To start Tomboy silently in the notification area without displaying the search window first, you can use the --icon switch. This works fine from the command line, but if I add 'tomboy --icon' to the session startup via the "Startup applications" dialog, the search window is always displayed at startup.

There is no --icon option in Tomboy, unless Ubuntu patched it in.

Tomboy only shows the Search window at startup if:
 * --search option is used
 * Tomboy is already running
 * Tomboy does not detect that the notification area icon has appeared within 2 seconds of launch

As far as I can tell Ubuntu does not patch in a --icon option, either.
