Bug Description
Binary package hint: tomboy
To start Tomboy silently in the notification area without displaying the search window first, you can use the --icon switch. This works fine from the command line, but if I add 'tomboy --icon' to the session startup via the "Startup applications" dialog, the search window is always displayed at startup.

There is no --icon option in Tomboy, unless Ubuntu patched it in.
Tomboy only shows the Search window at startup if:
* --search option is used
* Tomboy is already running
* Tomboy does not detect that the notification area icon has appeared within 2 seconds of launch
