Bug Description

Binary package hint: tk8.4

starting wish 8.4 or 8.5 should result in an initial 200x200 toplevel window going on the display. Instead the display flickers a lot and no window appears. "winfo ismapped ." returns 0. Adding other toplevels results in the same problems.

Can you describe what the latest versionyou're having this problem with is and what desktop you are running?
