Bug Description

On a fresh install of Ubuntu 22.04, calling `timidity -iA -Os` causes a segmentation fault.

Confirmed. I don't have this error when I take off the -Os option.

I still get the segmentation fault even without the -Os option. Ubuntu Studio 22.04.

Always confirmed on Ubuntu 22.04. For me, the Dan'sproblem must be different.
