Bug Description

Binary package hint: tilda

An update that killed the system font display in gnome-terminal a while back also killed Tilda's font display.

I used to have it start at boot but when I do the drop-down either looks completely black with no prompt or the same colour as my panels and no prompt.

There is a good chance that Tilda will look okay if I start it after booting but even this is not guaranteed.

Does it need to be recompiled with current libs or is older code the culprit?

I wonder if this is another dupliate of bug #144175.

Changed in tilda:
assignee: nobody → asisak
importance: Undecided → Medium
status: New → Incomplete

Not exactly because compiz is disabled AND uninstalled on my system. However, I do think they are related (if compiz isn't the cause) and the threads should be merged.

Compiz has nothing to do with bug 144175 IIRC.

Delete this entry then. Other one is similar enough apparently. We'll find out for sure when the fix is released :)
