Bug Description

I issued a "compact folders" on Thunderbird and I now have 17 message in my inbox instead of 500. It has also randomly removed many messages in other folders.

I am seriously upset.

(I use IMAP with Dovecot server)

This version has expired some times ago, and no backport is expected as there is no 'security' reported problem
