Messaging menu: sometimes it duplicates the alerts

In messaging menu, the Thunderbird add-on "Messaging Menu and Unity Launcher integration" (v0.8) alerts me about messages with Important tag and in the Inbox, but they are the same.
It should be configurable or it alerts me only about new messages in Inbox.
