Bug Description
I did a clean install of Ubuntu 11.10 and reuse my home partition. Now Thunderbird doesn't show context menus when the extension "Minimize On Start and Close" is enabled. The following mouse click actions no longer give the desired result:
- Right-clicking an email in the list of emails no longer shows a sub menu. Now I have to go to the menu bar and click on the "Message" menu item to get that menu.
- Right-clicking the body of an email no longer shows the Message menu.
- Right/Left-clicking the header items of an email (from, subject, to, cc, ...) no longer displays the corresponding menu's.
- Right clicking folders in the left panel no longer shows menu's.
- Some buttons in Thunderbird have a small down arrow on the right side of the button. Clicking this arrow should display a menu. Clicking this arrow no longer shows a menu.
Disabling the extension solved the above issues. The above issues don't happen in Ubuntu 10.10 (with an up-to-date Thunderbird).

Upon more investigation I found out that this was caused by a specific extension I have enabled: Minimize On Start and Close 1.3.2
Disabling this extension solves the problem. I don't have this problem in Ubuntu 10.10 where I use an up-to-date version of Thunderbird from the Mozilla Team PPA. Probably something specific for Ubuntu 11.10 in combination with this extension causes this problem.
