I'm just saying that stack trace doesn't look like it's hung.

In the past, we've had bugs where the code on linux and windows that's supposed to shut down the app when the last window is closed gets the count wrong, and leaves the app spinning the event loop, but no window up. And the new mail alert window might confuse that count.
