Bug Description
Binary package hint: thunderbird
The issue is not exactly a thunderbird bug but probably still of interest. I was notified that a forwarded message was received empty. It turned out that the header of the original mail contains a wrong character encoding (UTF-8 instead of ISO-8859-1). Since thunderbird relies on the header info, the displayed message shows ill characters represented by a question mark. When UTF-8 is being kept upon forwarding it will be empty. Switching to the proper character set before forwarding, however, allows a correct transmission.
