hi, ok, I'm getting all new messages appearing with the same body text from one one old messages from several days back.
 i.e. all new messages coming have the same old message in the body. This isn't happening on all accounts only on a couple (different servers).

Hi,

I have Thunderbird runing in Ubuntu and WinXP using the same message files so I can work from either OS. This problem is happening only in Ubuntu and started, in my case, yesterday Aug 31st after I made some Ubuntu updates.

The other issue, probably regarding this same one, is that Thunderbird is taking a very long time to load the messages when it start from the account where I have the problem. It wasn't like that before the problem started, i.e., it loaded the messages very fast.

In WinXP everything still working fine so I will have to keep working with it instead.

So far I have seen this problem in one account. I have three on the same session (including a gmail account)

Thank you for submitting this bug and reporting a problem with Thunderbird.

You made this bug report in 2009 and there have been several versions of Ubuntu and Thunderbird since then.

Could you confirm that this is no longer a problem and that we can close the ticket?
Or, if it is still a problem, could you run the following (only once):
apport-collect 399340

and upload the updated logs and and any other logs that are relevant for this particular issue.
