Bug Description
Thunderbird is still using its strange notification system when it receives a new mail.
I know the default mail client is Evolution, but some people still use Thunderbird...

This is not a 'paper cut' because it is not likely to be encountered the first day using Ubuntu.
Thunderbird using proper notifications is a valid concern, it just isn't within the scope of "One Hundred Paper Cuts"
