Bug Description

Binary package hint: thunderbird

In the display and composition tabs of the preferences dialog all the 'group' controls (text and border around a group of options) are 'blacked' out as if censored, i.e. the text does not appear, just a black rectangle in place of the text. See attached image. This occurred after the recent security update to the Thunderbird package.

I can confirm a similar if not identical problem. The update apparently changed or corrupted the standard chrome files. Similar problem with chrome for account settings/server dialog.

Same here - 2.0.0.21 brakes user interface

3 first menu entry isn't visible, shortcut is mismatched, for example "cursorr arrow down" deletes messages, "K" key try to cancel nntp message instead of ignoring thread...

I know this is old, but before simply closing the ticket as obsolete, I'd like to ask if anyone affected can still reproduce this problem.

With no replies for seven months this bug report can be considered to be no longer valid as it refers to very old versions of Ubuntu and Thunderbird. Marking "Invalid" to close.
