Bug Description

Binary package hint: thunderbird

This is actually a suggestion, not a bug. (But maybe its a bug :) )

When the thunderbird shows spam mail, it sometimes does not filter out all images. Would it be possible to configure the Thunderbird in such a way, that the images are not shown for mail that are considered tobe spam?

This is important for me, since i have to recheck all the mail, to make shure that they are indeed spam.
But some mail have inappropriate images, that i would not like to see. So, and option, that turns off imges would be great.

Thanks
Anton

Confirming this, would be a nice feature. Can someone report this to the Thunderbird bugzilla.

Thunderbird now has an option under 'Preferences | Privacy' to allow remote content in messages. Does this feature, possibly introduced after you raised this bug report, satisfy your feature request?

If so, this bug report can be marked as "Fix Released".
