Bug Description
After having installed the xul-ext-kwallet5 add-on I was not able of using Thunderbird anymore.
The bug has already been reported on Debian: https://<email address hidden>

Interestingly, I could not file a bug report using apport because it complains for xul-ext-kwallet5 not being an official KDE package.

BTW: Also when reporting this bug directly in launchpad for package xul-ext-kwallet5, it says that it "does not exist in Ubuntu.", while "apt policy" proves the opposite. :-)

Thank you for submitting this bug and reporting a problem with Thunderbird. You made this bug report over a year ago and there have been several versions of Ubuntu and Thunderbird since then.
Could you confirm that this is no longer a problem and that we can close the ticket?
If it is still a problem, are you still interested in finding a solution to this bug?
If you are, could you run the following (only once):
apport-collect BUGNUMBER
and upload the updated logs and and any other logs that are relevant for this particular issue.
