... [apport] mozilla-thunderbird-bin crashed with SIGSEGV when forwarding multiple messages in once

I seem to be able to reproduce this (at least almost) always. Just select several messages in the inbox and click the button to forward them. Compose-message windows start opening up (one/selected message) and at some point Thunderbird stops responing and utilizes as much processing power as possible. For me this is usually the second one.

I believe this is the report from such a crash. What you need to do in such a crash is just to kill thunderbird.

Newest version (2.0.0.4) doesn't have this problem any more. I don't know if it was fixed intentionally or not.
