Bug Description
After upgrading to Thunderbird 15 (with the new tabs style) on my Ubuntu 12.04 LTS desktop today, I noticed that if you hover over the inactive tabs and the default Ambiance theme is set, there is a distinct vertical border which appears between the center of the tabs and the corners, instead of a smooth and continuous look. The active tab and tabs which are not hovered over are not affected.
See attached screenshot for an example of how this looks.
Steps to reproduce:
1.) Open Thunderbird, and open multiple tabs (2 or more is fine). Make sure your current theme is Ambiance.
2.) Hover the mouse cursor over any tab other than the currently selected tab
My machine is running a fully up-to-date Ubuntu 12.04 LTS 64-bit, with thunderbird 15.0+build1-

I found that this same issue also appears when using Salience, a third-party GTK theme. Maybe any GTK theme with dark toolbars would be sufficient for triggering this bug...?
