Delay and error message in Thunar opening on Xubuntu 11.10

Bug Description
There is a delay when opening Thunar 1.2.3 in Xubuntu 11.10. This delay is often accompanied by the following error message:
"The folder could not be opened
Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network connection was broken."
In my case (and I'm not sure that mine case is perfectly replicated by other users) the delay and error message happen at the first opening of Thunar. Thereafter, for the most part, Thunar opens normally.
