2011-09-15 15:30:02 Luca Borrione bug added bug
2011-09-15 15:39:48 Luca Borrione description 1) create a folder in your home and a symbolic link pointing to this mkdir ~/orig ln -sT ~/orig dest 2) create a test file in the original folder touch ~/orig/test.txt 3) now open a Thunar session and go to the original folder, cut the test file using the gui, which means right-click on the *test.txt* file and choose *cut* 4) use a session of Thunar to go to the destination folder, which actually is the symbolic link poiting to the same folder, right-click and choose *paste* 5) a confirmation window will open ... choose *replace* to go on 6) a new window with an error will open but at this time the original test file is already deleted, so no matter what you choose at this point. Tested on Lubuntu 10.10 with Thunar 1.0.2 I tried other file mangers (Nautilus Elementary 2.32.2 and PCManFM 0.9.7) always on Lubuntu 10.10 and they are ok (they do not remove the original file) 1) create a folder in your home and a symbolic link pointing to the same folder mkdir ~/orig ln -sT ~/orig dest 2) create a test file in the original folder touch ~/orig/test.txt 3) now open a Thunar session and go to the original folder *~/orig*, cut the test.txt file using the gui, which means right-click on the test.txt file and choose *cut* 4) use a session of Thunar to go to the destination folder *~/dest*, which actually is the symbolic link poiting to the same folder of the original one, right-click and choose *paste* 5) a confirmation window will open ... choose *replace* to go on 6) a new window with an error will open but at this time the original test.txt file is already deleted, so no matter what you choose at this point.
