Bug Description

Binary package hint: thunar

Using Xubuntu Dapper beta, apt-get upgraded as of today.

Problem: when using Thunar to browse files and open them, OpenOffice.org files are opened as archives with Archive Manager.

which types of OOo files? odp ods or odt? For text and spreadsheet abiword and gnumeric should be the default handlers and if OOo is installed the rest should be launched using it?
Can you confirm this in an uptodate system?

mime types for which there are default handlers in xubuntu-desktop
have been associated with them using /etc/xdg/xubuntu/applications/defaults.list. If you find one for which the default action is not what it should be file a new bug on that specific case.
