Bug Description
In Ubuntu 16.04 xenial, double clicking on a file in Thunar doesn't display any visual confirmation (usually it's a hourglass). This can be a problem on slow machines.
Unfortunately, I can't check if it was working in Ubuntu 14.04 trusty...

Some further information: the problem only occurs when using unity-greeter as a lightdm greeter.
I was able to fix this issue by applying a patch to unity-greeter, see here: https:/
