I got this crash and apport marked mine as duplicate of this. My version of Thunar is already 1.6.6-1ubuntu2.

Václav, this bug was filed against version 1.6.5-0ubuntu1 during the development phase of Xubuntu 15.04. Without feedback from the reporter it is not easy to identify or fix bugs.

Therefore, please test version 1.6.10 from the following PPA:

Hi Thaddaeus, I'm experiencing this issue with version 1.6.10 of Thunar as well, on Xubuntu 15.10 (Wily Werewolf). I cut a file from one tab, then pasted in on another tab of Thunar, and the file manager suddenly vanished. I got

*** Error in `Thunar': double free or corruption (out): 0x00007f72f00196c0 ***

in my ~/.xsession-errors file.
