Bug Description
When an incorrect password is entered in the sudo prompt it takes a very long time for sudo to allow password re-entry.
Example:
m:~$ sudo su
Password or swipe finger:
Sorry, try again.
<Long wait here>

How long are we talking here? 2 or 3 seconds, or longer? Sometimes PAM is configured to delay to slow brute force attacks, but I don't think many care.
