Bug Description

Binary package hint: thewidgetfactory

After installing widget factory , the user has to use the terminal to start using "twf" , which a new user will only get to know after googling for the answer.

A menu item in the Applications menu >Systemtools/Graphics would be ideal.

Thanks for reporting this issue.

When installing thewidgetfactory version 0.2.1-2 on Ubuntu Quantal, it does not create a menu entry. This package needs a desktop file.

I keep going back and forth on this. This isn't necessarily a normal end-user application, so hiding it from the menus isn't that big of a deal. Though, especially considering the fact that the command and package names don't match, it is hard to find.

Fedora seems to ship their own desktop file: http://pkgs.fedoraproject.org/cgit/thewidgetfactory.git/tree/thewidgetfactory.desktop
