Bug Description

I'm using Xubuntu on a laptop. However, it seems thermald is slowing down my laptop even if the power cord is plugged. Maybe the default behaviour could stop thermald when the computer is operating on mains.

Jérôme,

Thermald didn't even start on your system.

I don't know how this can be cause of you slow down.

Ok thermald doesn't work properly for me. However, it is running when my powercord is plugged. Moreover thermald has to be launched at system startup (and thus increases the startup time).

Maybe a better default behaviour could be :
- thermald stopped when the power cord is plugged
- thermald running when the power cord isn't plugged
