Binary package hint: texmaker
A new upstream release of texmaker (1.7.1) is available:
http://www.xm1math.net/texmaker/
Packages in Intrepid, (and in hardy-backports) are currently still in version 1.6 and they should be upgraded to the new upstream release.
Note: updated packages are already available in Debian unstable:

Please sync texmaker 1.7.1-2 (universe) from Debian unstable (main).
Explanation of the Ubuntu delta and why it can be dropped:
All Ubuntu changes have been merged in Debian.
