omega and lambda executables not found in texlive-omega

Bug Description

I have the texlive-omega package installed (https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/raring/i386/texlive-omega) which I believe should include the omega and lambda executables

omega -- A wide-character-set extension of TeX.
lambda -- LaTeX format based on the Omega engine.

The executables do not appear to be installed. My end goal is to run makor (http://ctan.org/tex-archive/language/hebrew/makor) a Hebrew-language typesetting system that requires omega or lambda for the TeX and LaTeX varieties.

LaTeX is otherwise fully installed and running fine.

Thank you very much for your guidance.

I have a partial solution.

First, the omega and lambda executables appear to have been replaced with aleph and lamed respectively. These executables do appear in the texlive-base package, and aleph and lamed appear to work for compiling the files in http://ctan.org/tex-archive/language/hebrew/makor.

Second, there is a serious error in the filenames in the makor package (this may not be the right forum for reporting it). As given in CTAN there is one bug: the file makor/fonts/type1/makor2/ezra/Ezra.pfb should be called ezra.pfb in lower case, when one is on a case-sensitive filesystem (such as Linux).
