Hello, i was trying to install the last updates for ubuntu 10.04 using Update Manager.. After installing all the other packages, when system tried to install package tex-common also, but with no success.. It showed up a message : error processing tex-common, exit status 1..

This is the description of my issue. I am using a intel pentium 4, cpu 2.53 ghz, 1 gb ram, ubuntu release 10.04 lts (lucid) - kernel 2.6.32 - 30- generic ..

The error listed in DpkgTerminalLogs suggests "fmtutil-sys" failed. This same case is dealt with in bug #751024. Hence marking as duplicate.
