Bug Description

I am iso testing. If I goto the tracker, select a build, click "link to download information" and use the zsync link I get an iso that performs one way

If I open Testdrive, set pref to Repo: cdimage Release: utopic, hit sync and when it's done, launch (vbox), the same image performs a different way

Leads me to believe testdrive not pulling same img as zsync

Can you specify the two locations you are seeing?

Also, can you confirm the md5sums for the two images you are downloading?

It sounds like testdrive or the tracker is showing things incorrectly; would be helpful for you to specify which one as part of the bug report so it's not ambiguous to fix.

zsync http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-server/daily/20140807/utopic-server-amd64.iso.zsync

listed on iso tracker: http://iso.qa.ubuntu.com/qatracker/milestones/315/builds/74832/downloads

the tracker is definately the problem, I looked through testdrives code and I have the utmost confidence in it now as I see it pulls the iso listed on the daily manifest

Nicholas Skaggs (nskaggs) wrote :

What we are actually seeing here is that testdrive pulls from "current", which is the last image that passed automatic tests.

On the other hand the tracker always lists the daily image, with no regards to it passing any automatic testing.
