Testdrive keeps syncing when disconnected from the internet, then doesn't continue when re-connected

Bug Description

If the internet connection is removed, testdrive still thinks it's syncing. It then doesn't resume, but still says it's syncing, when the internet is reconnected.

It would also be nice to tell a user about connection timeout.
