I have seen this behavior in testdrive before where I need to close testdrive and reopen it in order to launch VM's.
Synced all 4 imaged yesterday
Ran VM, did not work
Updated all packages
Today I tried to launch the VM again, then closed it.
Synced the 64 bit desktop image
Launched - No result
Quit Testdrive, Restarted testdrive
Launched VM
