Bug Description

I currently suffer from several issues while using libtesseract for OpenALPR. The following pull-request fixes this and has been confirmed to be a bug in the package:
https://github.com/tesseract-ocr/tesseract/pull/1669

The current packages in the Ubuntu 16.04 LTS are the beta2 version of tesseract 4.0.0 which is rather unstable while the final 4.0.0 version has been released. Can I expect that this version will be pushed to the repo in any time soon?
