Bug Description

Binary package hint: terminator

If you add a custom command and move the command up/down or top/bottom the menu position does not stick after Terminator is restarted. The menu seems to be sorted alphabetically by default.

It is also not possible to delete a command from the menu as it reappears each time Terminator is restarted. I had to manually edit the config file to delete unwanted entries.

Instead of using normal dictionary for storing plugin configurations, used ordered dictionary to store the config values.

The attachment "Using Ordered Dictionary for storing keys" seems to be a patch. If it isn't, please remove the "patch" flag from the attachment, remove the "patch" tag, and if you are a member of the ~ubuntu-reviewers, unsubscribe the team.

@ramz #3: While I like the compactness and simplicity of your patch (I haven't actually tested it) it uses a feature added in Python 2.7. Ubuntu 10.04 is still supported with Python 2.6 (and potentially other distributions too) and I'd prefer not to break Terminator for them. For this reason I'm more likely to accept the dcaro branch (although I think that branch is in need of a cleanup before merging.) Thanks for the patch though, and keep it up - I see you active elsewhere too.
