Bug Description

In my config file, I have size set as follows.

[layouts]
  [[default]]
    [[[child1]]]
      type = Terminal
      parent = window0
      profile = default
    [[[window0]]]
      type = Window
      parent = ""
      size = 1920, 950

My monitor is 1920 pixels in width. However, Terminator leaves a small gap of about 5 pixels. Increasing the size to +5 in width does not solve this problem. Maximise works as expected.

Hi Sparhawk, Your issue is that you have "Window geometry hints" checked in Preferences, and that the 0.97 release doesn't respect the maximised status of a window when saving a layout.

You can a) turn off geometry hinting for now, or b) update to the nightly builds which has adds the maximised status to a saved layout. (Geometry hinting is what resizes the windows in stepped increments.)

Changed in terminator (Ubuntu):
