terminator issues with global menu bar

Just upgraded to 13.04 on my laptop. terminator seems to be having issues with the global menu bar. That is, the terminator windows title bar ends up being managed in the global menu bar, and leaves me no way of dragging a terminator window around. Screen shot attached. The expectation is that the terminator window has its own window title bar with the close/minimize/maximize icons and the ability to drag the window around. if i hit super-s, I am able to drag the window around like any other, but no way of doing that during normal usage.
