Unexpected notifiaction about bazillions of voicemails

I was clicking "Check for updates" when suddenly my phone rebooted. After it went back to life I've noticed the new notification which said: "18196311974 voicemail messages". AFAIK I don't have a voicemail even active. Screenshot attached.

Status changed to 'Confirmed' because the bug affects multiple users.

Few weeks ago, my phone was suppose to ring because it was alarm morning. But i was eyes closed tryeiçg to swith off the ***** alarm to have "5 more minutes".

But nothing to do, it was keeping vibrating
 Brrrrrrrrrrrrrr

So I had to open my eyes. I did not understand why it was vibratiçg so much, i force rebootes it.

On reboot same issue of voicemail alert, hudge number. Note that it didn't happened on this OTA-3 v21 krillyn as seen in the filename date.

This bug just has been triggered one again:

 Phone got power off due to no battery
 I wait 6% before boot. And then: (cf attachement)

Once again, but no reboot:

I go outside a shopping (where no network gsm).

And when network comes, this notification cames up too:

I will underline that it seems we have the same amount of hudge number (max int?)

By the way :

1- I get "voice mail" notifications on reboot, even if I have NO voice mail

2- I DON'T get any new voice mail notification when a voice mail arrives.

My phone provider is Free and I noticed the lack of voice mail notifications on some newer Android phones, but not on my old HTC Desire.

May be the provider does not adhere to standards.
