Empathy can't connect to MSN

telepathy-butterfly (Ubuntu)

Bug Description

Binary package hint: telepathy-butterfly

Empathy previously worked OK, but now i'm unable to login to MSN.

Suddenly Empathy start giving problems connecting to msn (other protocols are ok).

This bug is very modular, i think. Because, when I delete all msn accounts, uninstall telepahy-butterfly and again create the msn accounts Empathy woks fine again, all except that Empathy don't show my contact's pictures.

This bug is very similar to #454615 and Bug #513346 but in Ubuntu 10.04.

I think this is very serious issue, because Empathy is the default messenger in Ubuntu and every one expects that a default program never gives problems, so this could damage the usability of Ubuntu. And this issue results more important for OEMs.

If I delete all msn accounts and install again Telepathy-butterfly, when I create a msn account Empathy can't connect to MSN again. So I think the problem is in the telepathy-butterfly package.
