Failure to create connection to MSN

Binary package hint: telepathy-butterfly

I was able to connect to msn using telepathy-butterfly recently but the last few days I get nothing but connection errors when starting empathy.

Thanks for the bug report. can you please attach the telepathy-butterfly logs to this bug report for the time when you see the error in empathy. you can get those logs from Help>Debug and in that window select butterfly and click save and attach the log file here.

Seems to have fixed itself with todays update to Maverick, at least I have msn again,

Okay I narrowed this down. When I connect on a fresh reboot I can get on MSN, but if I resume from suspend it will give the above error everytime till I reboot and reconnect.

yes its a very known bug upstream and is also linked to some buttefly/empathy bug. I just cant find it :(
