Bug Description
Music metadata is not showing up when I send music files via Telegram Desktop, either by dragging and dropping the files or by sending them with the paperclip icon.
Ubuntu Version:
18.10
Package Version:
1.4.0-1 (from the Cosmic universe repository)
Steps to reproduce:
1. Install this package from apt
2. Go to a chat
3. Drag a music file onto the chat window (or use the attach files button to select it)
Expected behavior:
(see screenshot)
Expected music files to display their title and artist name both in the dialog asking to confirm sending the file, and in the chat.
What happened instead:
Music files appeared as their file name, both in the confirmation dialog and in the chat. Some strange behavior appeared to happen as well concerning MP3 vs OGG Vorbis files; MP3 files showed their tags correctly on other devices as well as in the Telegram Desktop application after being forwarded; however, OGG Vorbis files showed up as a filename in all cases.
Running the program in terminal produced the following error message in yellow text upon uploading an OGG Vorbis file:
Invalid return value 0 for stream protocol
Invalid return value 0 for stream protocol
No message was produced upon uploading an MP3 file.
