no video signal after running

Binary package hint: teeworlds

1.) Ubuntu 9.04
2.) 0.4.3-3
3.) I installed Teeworlds via Synaptic then ran it and expected it to run correctly.
4.) But the only thing that happened was black screen on monitor and text saying "no signal"

I think it might be some problem with screen resolution. Is there any way to change graphic settings before running the program? For example some text file...

I am interested on knowing how to change the resolution of the game. In my case the game opens, but I see only parts of the game's screen, because everything is huge and only a portion of the game fits on my screen.

Oh and I am running teeworlds 0.6.1+dfsg-1 on Ubuntu 12.10

Somehow I no longer have the problem I had. Maybe some kind of updated from Ubuntu fixed my problem.
