tasksel crashes during Eucalyptus cloud installation

3) Expected: selection and installation of all cloud-related tasks in one go

4) What happens instead:
tasksel crashes (with error code 100) when one attempts to install several cloud-related
packages simultaneously. One-by-one package selection and installation succeeds.

same behavior in the stock 10.04 LTS x86_64 eucalyptus image included in UEC Store.

Running:
sudo tasksel --section server

results in pre-selection of "Base Ubuntu Server", "Open SSH Server", and "Ubuntu Enterprise Cloud (Instance)" components.
If you procced to select "OK" to start the installation of the components tasksel crashs. However if you select and install only one component at a time it succeeds.
