Bug Description
Binary package hint: tasksel
I was using Ubuntu Desktop 8.04 will all the lastest updates available (as of Feb 10th 2009).
1. Using tasksel Interface, I installed KDE desktop and KDE applications.
2. First, splash boot screen changed from "Ubuntu" to "Kubuntu" (I did not expect that behavior)
3. A few days latter, i decided to uninstall all KDE related "task", but tasksel removed all the packaged installed on the system, including Gnome, OpenOffice, Firefox, LAMP, etc. and Leaving me in a basic system or Ubuntu Server like installation.
