Bug Description
I get a hang > 5mins presumed infinite when booting Jaunty with the following in /etc/networks/
auto ppp0
iface ppp0 inet ppp
provider nildram
removing "auto ppp0" causes the boot to proceed normally
"ifup ppp0" then starts the (dsl) interface and returns quickly
determined that the hang is in ifup -a within the networking script
Maybe it hangs if the ADSL line is not sync'd when ifup is run?
Worked previously in hardy, including timeout if line disconnected.
