Bug Description
A syntax error is reported from /etc/init.d/rc (line 260) and the system fails
to shutdown.
Comparing this file on breezy and dapper reveals that it is over twice the
length on dapper.
Has there been a new rc file or is there file corruption?

I also get an error when I try to reboot after today's Dapper upgrades:
/etc/init.d/rc: line 210: 1 * 50 / 11 + : systax error: operand expected (error
token is " ")
