Bug Description

Binary package hint: open-iscsi

When using the _netdev mount-option, fsck at boottime /etc/init.d/ and mount /etc/init.d/ should avoid the device since those scripts are run before the network is available.

Attached patches makes both and aviod filesystem with the _netdev option.

Added patches to and for _netdev later in the bootprocess .. after open-iscsi has been started but before applications that use the device starts.

Same for mountall

This is not an issue anymore as networking is configured by udev prior to checkfs and mountall are called. Reassigning to sysvrc (which has the initscripts binary package, which in turn has these rc scripts) and setting priority to wishlist.

Changed in open-iscsi:
status: New → Won't Fix
Changed in sysvinit:
importance: Undecided → Wishlist
Changed in sysvinit (Ubuntu):
status: New → Confirmed

This change is not applicable to current versions of Ubuntu, which do not use from sysvinit.

If this problem is reproducible with mountall in current releases of Ubuntu, please reassign this bug there.

Changed in sysvinit (Ubuntu):
status: Confirmed → Invalid
