ubuntu vivid: last/w broken

output of last and w does not show any logged in users.

grepping for my username in /var/log/wtmp does not show any results on ubuntu, so i think the files are not written correctly.

logins via SSH are recorded correctly, so i think it is only logins via sddm that are not recorded.

it seems to have been fixed now.

But i kust noted another problem, the reboot time is not recorded correctly:

This started on Wednesday with the same update that fixed recording of the usernames.
