Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubiquity

I am using Gutsy Tribe 2 on an old Sony Vaio PCG-XG19. The install works, but at the end I see a strange error on the screen:

usplash: can't get console font
  * Unmounting temporary filesystem
umount: /cow not found

I didn't see this in Gutsy Tribe 1.

I think this would be best fixed in initscripts (/etc/init.d/umountfs) by having it explicitly ignore tmpfs mounts whose mount point doesn't exist (indicating that they were probably mounted by the initramfs).

  * Don't try to unmount tmpfses that don't exist, as they were probably
    mounted in the initramfs (LP: #124969).
  * Implement 'killall5 -o omitpid'; avoid killing pids listed in
    /var/run/sendsigs.omit in sendsigs (LP: #87763).
