Yes, I am aware of the path. This is what I see on a fresh jammy install:

nr@clean-jammy-amd64:~$ readlink /etc/resolv.conf
../run/systemd/resolve/stub-resolv.conf
nr@clean-jammy-amd64:~$ nslookup google.com
Server: 127.0.0.53
Address: 127.0.0.53#53
