computer does not reemerge from hibernate

Bug Description

I put the computer in hibernate
I came back and pressed start button to reawake machine.
No response.
Black screen.

Had to force hard reboot to get machine back to functional status.

Is the resume device correct?

$ sudo blkid | grep swap

$ grep RESUME -r /etc/initramfs-tools/

I ran the commands as suggested and got no return on both.

$ sudo blkid | grep swap
$ grep RESUME -r /etc/initramfs-tools/
